Luby Sparks has now become a representative of Japanese dream pop - shoegaze guitar pop. Band Supremacy's most pop and grand masterpiece 'Somewhere', which was released digitally in September of this year, is now available as a 7-inch clear vinyl version!! Theshoegaze-guitar pop tradition with influences around C86 and 4AD, Luby Sparks is a 5-member group of men and women who have the sensibilities of an alternative generation after Captured Tracks. The long-awaited 7-inch version of the new song 'Somewhere', which was pre-sold at the live venue of 'Dreamtopia', a joint project with TAWINGS, is now available for general distribution!Since the release of their previous EP '(I'm) Lost in Sadness,' they have supported many overseas artists' performances in Japan, and have grown even more as a live band. It is a romantic and large-scale song that can be said to be the culmination of that experience, and is a moving masterpiece in which Erika's vocals soar with a sense of freedom over a sweet dream pop sound created by glittering synths and guitars. Side B includes a remix by Robin Guthrie of Cocteau Twins, a band that was a big influence on Luby Sparks. I am amazed at the result, which has been revived with an aesthetic and emotional sound image that is truly Cocteau Twins while making use of the original song!Continuing from the album, Yuck's frontman Max Bloom was in charge of mixing. The artwork is by NY artist Annika White. Listen:https://open. Spotify. com/album/759t0lhC694O2uUer4ddZIhttps://open.
