Swiss firebrand alchemists Zeal & Ardor are excited to announce forthcoming, self-titled new album.

Hissing and seeping justifiable rage from every pore - yet not an unrelenting musical battering - the 14-track opus was recorded by Marc Obrist and Manuel Gagneux at Hutch Sounds and mixed and mastered by Will Putney at Graphic Nature Audio. All songs were written by the softly spoken, multi- lingual frontman Gagneux, with some German lyrics intermixed with the English.

Gagneux declares, “With the self-titled record, we have arrived at where I imagined this project should sound like. It’s the longest we’ve worked on a single record and I believe it shows. The most important thing for an album of ours to do, is transport you instantly into our mood, our world. Even though this might not be the one you might expect from us, this record certainly delivers on that front. We had time to hone in to what we think makes us interesting and what sounds we would like to explore through this we have found our home.

Home is burning. Welcome home.”

The storyline seems obvious: The Missouri based hard-rockers, Shaman's Harvest, assembled this project during a global pandemic that debilitated the entire music industry. "This was the hardest record we've ever made, on every level," says the lead singer Nathan Hun. "Hard" has kinda been universal lately. But the road to 'Rebelator' was even rockier than the band expected: natural disasters, logistical nightmares, an extreme case of collective writer's block. "We struggled the whole way," Hunt adds with a gruff bari-tone chuckle. "It was an interesting process for sure." Luckily, they had time on their side. After a couple grueling years of touring behind their last album, 2017's Red Hands Black Deeds, Shaman's Harvest were creatively and personally drained. So, founding mem-bers Hunt and Hamler, along with guitarist Derrick Shipp and drummer Adam Zemanek-hit the reset but-ton hard, clearing out six months for demo construction at their Jefferson City rehearsal space. Shaman's Harvest persevered, of course, and wound up with their richest, most well-rounded album to date-a natural progression from Red Hands Black Deeds, 2014's Smokin' Hearts & Broken Guns and 2009's Shine, which featured the breakout single "Dragonfly." In keeping with the spirit of those last three albums, the band aimed to, in Hunt's words, "de-genre-fy" their music-aiming beyond the rote contemporary rock-metal formula to add sublet arrangement quirks. "We were able to stretch our legs a little bit," says Hunt. "We don't want to limit ourselves when we're in the stu-dio," Hamler interjects. "We want to try things or take some chances and find a way to make it work. We're all artists, and nothing destroys art like monotony."Shaman's Harvest and Mascot Records are set to release the band's seventh studio album, 'Rebelator', available everywhere March 25th, 2022.

Double transparent white colored vinyl LP pressing. 2022 release. For more than two decades, Sweden's Cult of Luna have forged a sound that has grown incomparable to that of others. As soon as listeners hit play, they are in familiar yet refreshingly new Cult of Luna territory, the pulsating rhythms of "Cold Burn" pummeling, and Persson's savage roar tearing through the layers of guitar. As is the case with every album from the band in recent years, there is a lot of shifting of dynamics and sonic density, and perhaps more so than usual on The Long Road North. "It's a big sounding album. I would almost describe it as cinematic. As always, when we choose songs for an album, we put in a lot of effort to get the dynamic right. In some aspects, it has been one of the easiest albums to write, but in other ways, it's definitely been the hardest, with big changes very close to the master delivery. The ebbs and flows need to be right, and when some songs are on the heavier spectrum, they need to be balanced out with something more soft without making the drop too big." The tracks "Beyond I" and "Beyond II" particularly stand out, stripping things back and bringing in outside artists to help them realize their vision.

"Rock and metal music have always been a haven for those who have bigger stories to tell; who have grander emotions to convey. For more than thirty years, Finnish figureheads Amorphis have done their best to carve their very own niche in heartfelt yet aggressive, melancholic yet soothing tunes. On “Halo”, their staggering fourteenth studio effort, the Fins underline their trailblazing status as one of the most original, culturally relevant and rewarding acts ever to emerge from the land of the thousand lakes. In the past, mythology and legend took the role of today’s pop culture: Stories and a set of values uniting us by giving us a voice and a tapestry on which we can find each other and identify with something. By weaving the tales of Finnish national epos “Kalevala” into their songs and interpreting them in a timeless way, Amorphis combine the role of ancient minstrels and luminaries of the modern world, honouring tradition without getting stuck in the past. The vibrant, lively, and touching beauty that is “Halo” highlights their musical and storytelling mastership on a once again soaring level: It’s a progressive, melodic, and quintessentially melancholic heavy metal masterwork plucked from the fickle void of inspiration by original guitarists Esa Holopainen and Tomi Koivusaari, bassist Olli-Pekka Laine, drummer Jan Rechberger, longtime keyboardist Santeri Kallio and vocalist Tomi Joutsen, the band’s long-standing lyrical consciousness Pekka Kainulainen and a selected group of world class audio professionals led by renowned Swedish producer Jens Bogren. Considering the band’s prolonged journey in the forefront of innovative metal music, it’s difficult to grasp how Amorphis manages to raise the proverbial bar time and time again, presenting a more than worthy finale to the trilogy begun with 2015’s “Under the Red Cloud” followed by 2018’s “Queen of Time.” “It really is a great feeling that we can still produce very decent music as a band,” says Holopainen, a founding member of the band. “Perhaps a certain kind of self-criticism and long experience culminate in these latest albums.” To the songwriter himself, “Halo” sounds both familiar and different. “It is thoroughly recognizable Amorphis from beginning to end but the general atmosphere is a little bit heavier and more progressive and also organic compared to its predecessor,” he elaborates. Tomi Joutsen, the man with vocal cords capable of unleashing colossal, bear-like growls as well as singing soothing, mesmerising lullabies, adds, “To me, ‘Halo’ sounds a little more stripped down compared to ‘Queen Of Time’ and ‘Under The Red Cloud.’ However, don’t get me wrong: when a certain song needs to sound big, then it sounds very big.” He’s right, of course: By stripping down some of the arrangements, the monumental moments become even more monumental. That’s of course also thanks to producing renaissance man Jens Bogren who harvested the thirteen final tracks from a batch of thirty songs Amorphis offered him. “Jens is very demanding, but I really like to work with him,” says Holopainen. “He takes care of the whole project from start to finish, and he allows the musician to focus on just playing. I may not be able to thank Jens enough. Everything we’ve done together has been really great, and this co-operation has carried Amorphis significantly forward.” Indeed. Setting off with the stormy grandeur of opener “Northwards,” Amorphis take us on an epic journey through the lands of the north, their rich cultural and historical heritage and musical traditions. This is not only an album for fans or metal connoisseurs. It’s a must for every imaginative mind out there with a soft spot for cinematic soundscapes, triumphant melodies and breathtaking dynamics measuring the borderlands of light and dark. However, no Amorphis album would be complete without the imaginative ...

In one of the most powerful comeback stories in recent history, THE GHOST INSIDE make a triumphant return the stage in Los Angeles at Shrine Expo, in 2019. With the 5000 capacity venue selling out in mere minutes, the show as moved to it’s parking lot, and selling over 8000 tickets by the end of on sale day.

THE GHOST INSIDE will release Rise From The Ashes: Live At The Shrine via Epitaph Records. This live concert recording is from the band’s 2019 sold out comeback show in Los Angeles, CA in the parking lot of The Shrine.

On an early morning in November 2015, THE GHOST INSIDE was involved in an accident that claimed the lives of their driver, the lives of everyone in the other vehicle, and resulted in multiple injuries for all of the band members. Jonathan Vigil (vocals) suffered from a fractured back, ligament damage, and two broken ankles. Zach Johnson (guitar) has since had 13 surgeries for a femur injury. Andrew Tkaczyk (drums) ultimately lost his leg. The future of the band was very much up in the air throughout 2016, as everyone struggled to recover.

The road to recovery was both mentally and physically extensive but THE GHOST INSIDE were determined to get back to doing what they love. Nearly four years later, the band did just that, returning to the stage July 2019. Originally meant to take place at the historic Shrine Auditorium, tickets sold out so quick that the gig had to be moved to the parking lot, selling double the venues capacity. Over 8000 people witness this return to the stage. The accident will always be a defining moment for THE GHOST INSIDE, but never what defines them.

2022 release. Matt Pike: "The album title, Pike vs. The Automaton, wasn't an ego thing for me. Billy and Jon said, "Dude, you should use your name in this. This is your solo project." I said, "I don't want to do that". The Automaton, in Greek mythology, is the big robot that's the guardian of the Gods, basically. It's a soulless, big machine named Talos. The big machine that's working against mankind at this moment. In Jason and the Argonauts, Jason and the Argonauts have to battle this big machine guy that protects the island. Basically, what the album title is saying, metaphorically, is 'Pike against the World.'" "I made a psychedelic rock record that Sleep and High on Fire fans would like," Pike says when asked for a Cliffs Notes description of Pike vs. The Automaton. And maybe if you're not a Sleep or High on Fire fan, you might like it too. I definitely think it's interesting; it has D-Beat punk, two-step. It's got everything and it still works together, it doesn't sound odd. It's just an off-the-wall psychedelic rock record."

Probably one of the best Metal albums ever! Bastards became the eleventh album in a row in the discography of the British Metal band Motörhead, published in 1993. This work turned out to be one of the best in the teams repertoire at that time - fast, hard and with a great variety of compositions. The album was largely "first": the first and last recorded on the label ZYX; first Mickey Dee as the sole drummer; first, produced by Howard Benson.
